Booking Fee Required to Confirm Booking:

The booking fee is retained to confirm you are engaging our entertainment services as agreed via email, SMS or verbally on the phone. This fee will be deducted from the full amount due/payable on the event date set. If you cancel your booking with us within 60 working days of your confirmed booking date then please note that this fee is non-refundable as it is used to cover our administration costs.

Our Cancellation Policy:

All Booking fees are non-refundable if you cancel your booking with us within 60 working days of your scheduled event date. If you happen to reschedule your booking within 60 working days of your cancelled event date then we will honour the booking fee already paid and put that towards your new set date within 6 months (only one change of date allowed and no refund offered).

If you cancel your booking with us within 7 working days of your event date then payment of 50% of the total booking fee must be paid.

If you cancel your booking with us on the event date then full payment must be paid.

Entertainers:

Each entertainer supplied through Party2Party Entertainment will hold valid Public Liability Insurance. We (Party2Party.co.uk) will supply you with agreed service as contracted on paper or by digital contract via email or SMS. Services rendered will extend to that of a written/digital contract.

Children's Well Being:

While we will endeavour to keep your party fun, exciting & safe, and encourage the children to participate in all aspects of the show/program, our entertainer(s) services only extend to that of entertainment / show & program contracted. Our entertainers are not certified childminders or caregivers. Parental supervision is required at all times during the party/event (Entertainer has the right to stop or cancel the event where parental or venue host supervision is not present). The entertainer is not responsible for managing the behaviour of the children attending the party/event. Please don't ask entertainer to feed or take children to the toilet (not permitted).

Health And Safety:

Entertainers supplied by Party2Party.co.uk can refuse to perform at an event if they deem it an unsafe environment or a hazard to their well being or annuls their Public Liability Insurance Cover.

DBS / CRB Changes In UK Law:

DBS/CRB requirements for kids entertainers changed in 2013 and is no longer required by current UK law as the the role/job does not involve regularly caring for, training, supervising or being solely in charge of persons under 18 and or vulnerable adults. As a children's entertainer normally entertain in front of everyone 100% of the time at a 1 or 2 hour party (with parents, guest 18+ & host looking on and in the room at all times), plus the fact that the entertainer is on stage from the moment they walk in the door till they leave and their livelihood is at stake, it's safe to say 99.9% of entertainers are child safe! That said, it is still the responsibility of the host/booker to make sure the entertainer is not left alone with kids they are entertaining.

Liability:

Party2Party Entertainment will not be held responsible for any liabilities, claims, actions, damages to property or equipment, merchandise, products, persons or any losses or expenses of hirer / host.

Terms: If you as the party booker/client find you are not happy with the level of entertainment supplied and all believe the party was a total flop, that we did not supply fun quality entertainment as promised, the party goers (kids) were all upset then you won't have to pay a penny!

Your Privacy:

While we do request clients to supply us with their name, phone number, home address or email, their privacy is important to us. We do not pass such info onto any 3rd parties or data gathering agencies (exception only apply to UK court orders). We may use the info you supplied to keep you informed on specials we have on offer, although you are free to opt out of this on request. We do use a secure online booking system on our website, but this info is kept in house and not passed onto third parties

Photograph Taking At Events:

We allow photos to be taken during our performances as long as they are not used for commercial or media purposes without our consent in writing. We may take photos at events for social media purposes (including, but not limited to, facebook, flyers, website etc). You are under no obligation to give consent. Photos taken at events open to the general public may be used without consent (written or verbal).

Fuel And Parking:

We are based in Kimberley (Nottinghamshire), but we do travel to numerous parties/venues in a 30 -40 mile radios (some time further for bigger events). That being said, the prices quoted on this site do not reflect extra fuel and time needed to attend events outside a 10 mile radius of Kimberley, so there will be an added fair surcharge to reflect this (when you go to book online and choose your post code the surcharge cost will then be shown). Also not included in the prices listed on this site are any parking fees. Because of the amount of equipment we bring to perform at your event, we must travel by car. Parking must be supplied for free or paid for by the client.

Bouncy castle And Soft Play Hire:

The well being, safe play and care of the children using our inflatable unit is the responsibility of the person that rents these unit. We encourage safety first then fun so please make sure responsible adult overseers the use of this unit at all times when in use. We will not be held responsible for any accidents to any persons or damages to property through the use of this unit. Any damages to this unit by hirer through improper use, over crowding or improper oversight will incur on the hirer the full cost to repair or replace the unit. Play safe and have fun!

Indoor Bouncy Castle Hire:

We only offer all day hire for indoor use all year round.

We are unable to offer selected hours for just bouncy castle hire in halls unless you have the key all day and we can arrange collection later in the evening. This does not apply to the Inflatable "sport" party packages that have a set time slot!

Our inflatables are available to hire indoors all year round (for all day hires).

For indoor hall hire bookings, you will be required to show one form of identification.

It is your responsibility when booking our inflatable equipment to make sure it will fit in your hired hall.

Outdoor Hire:

We provide outdoor all day hire from 1st April till 31st October.

BSEN14960:2013-2018:

Each of our inflatable bouncy castle units adheres to build quality BSEN14960:2013 and annually inspected by an independent RPii & PIPA tester to met British health and safety directives.

PAT Testing:

All our electronic equipment is PAT tested as and when required by current UK law.

Do I Price Match Other Entertainers:

No! I have been a children's entertainers for 20+ years and in that time we have seen a lot of entertainment agencies and individual entertainers go bust or crash out all because they did not know their self worth or how to cost up their services and run a proper business. We do not model our entertainment business after the likes of a superstore where it's about quantity over quality or some newbie that has no concept of money. To some it may look like easy money but there are loads of behind the scene costs at the professional level, not to mention taxes and running costs of such a business. Party2Party is also a family run business, we do have all those lovely bills that all families have each month, and with 4 kids it is no easy feat (but we manage and have fun along the way).

Are All Children's Entertainment Suppliers The Same:

Not by a long shot! What sets our service apart from most is that we are a family run business and we are actual professional kids entertainers with 20+ years experience. We even have 4 kids of our own! We all to often see some agencies send out people who have almost no training. A ploy used by some is they get their new recruits to attend a 1 day crash course on how to be a “kids entertainer”. They then graduate them with a bit of fan fair, a slap on the back, signed contract and a printed piece of paper with the title of “professional kids entertainer” (sadly only worth the paper it is printed on). While we applaud folks in finding work, we know from experience that one can’t learn how to be a professional kids entertainer overnight (it’s a bit like being a parent, teacher or care giver… it all takes time and experience to be a professional). Another sad outcome that plagues these agencies is they go through staff like there is no tomorrow, primarily due to the fact the agency take half of the income of their workers, if not more and their recruits get burned out quickly (due to lack of pay, experience and enthusiasm). As they say, you get what you pay for!
